2019 was Clever Punch’s first official year in business and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
The best part of the job is the people. Thank you to everyone we worked with for opening your doors and trusting us to help you. It really is a privilege to root for small business owners and help them create the professional look and feel they deserve and to get that message in front of the right people!
Yes, we are still focused on the construction community but couldn’t pass up a few projects outside of that world. Enjoy the highlights of our 2019 projects below!
1. The Contractors Coach
NEW WEBSITE, PRINT MATERIALS, PHOTOGRAPHY & DIGITAL ADVERTISING
To date, this is the biggest website we’ve built. This 15-page beauty is loaded with content — videos, podcast episodes, tons of photos, and great copywriting. You can see the LIVE version HERE. We also got to direct a photo shoot at their Walnut Creek location and launch a digital advertising campaign with Google Adwords and YouTube Ads. Next up in 2020 is supporting their newest location in Santa Barbara, organizing their email campaigns, and regularly posting to social media.
2. DeSario Insurance
PRINTED BROCHURES, BUSINESS CARDS & FOLDERS
Like us, DeSario Insurance caters to construction companies. They have all of the benefits of a large insurance firm, but with the customer service and attention of a boutique agency. It was important that the sales sheets we wrote and designed conveyed that unique point of difference. We created 5 sales sheets plus new business cards, thank you cards and a portfolio folder
3. Coast Supply Co.
PHOTOGRAPHY, SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE COPYWRITING
We’re excited to be working with Coast Supply from Carpinteria. This family owned flooring, windows and kitchen design business is celebrating their 75th year in business! We are elevating their look with new photography and consistent social media posts. Next up their new website (by ShermanArt Creative) is launching soon!
4. Pacific Pools
WEBSITE, PHOTOGRAPHY, SOCIAL MEDIA
Pacific Pools is a family run business with great teams on both the service and construction side of the business. We revamped their website with a new design showing both sides of the business, plus captured new images, and designed emails promoting their reverse osmosis service. See their LIVE website here
5. Montecito Construction

Any homeowner would be lucky to call Montecito Construction their General Contractor. The two partners have a combined experience in quality construction of high-end custom homes that is unmatched — and they needed their branding and website to reflect that. See the LIVE version of the website here
6. Lymphatic Therapy Santa Barbara
WEBSITE, VIDEO, PHOTOGRAPHY
Video is one of our favorite services to do. Because few businesses are doing them, and even fewer are doing them well. A 3 minute intro video can speak VOLUMES to your potential customers, and can be used in a multitude of marketing ways indefinitely. 7. RedRock Reports
NEW WEBSITE
I can’t tell you how much I love meeting people who know exactly what they do, and why they are better at it than anyone else. That is Jenny House! A total firecracker in the Education Funding world and just an absolutely positive JOY to work with. It was extra special to meet Jenny and her husband Chuck, and make this new website for her company RedRock Reports. See the live version here
8. BOND Fitness
MARKETING STRATEGY, EMAIL CAMPAIGNS, BLOG COPY
Bond Fitness recently rebranded from the Jenny Schatzle Program and was ready to reach people with an updated look and message. Our marketing strategy involved an audit of all existing marketing efforts, market research, internal team interviews and then our recommendations for future marketing efforts. From there we started a content focused monthly newsletter and more efficient social posting process.
9. VivaHire
BRANDING, WEBSITE, PHOTOGRAPHY, DRONE VIDEO
The direction of the branding reflected Santa Barbara - as this is the locale of the businesses using VivaHire's recruiting services. We matched the branding with a website that is effortless, but professional. Clean, modern, and lifestyle without being casual. See their LIVE website here
10. Rheinschild & Associates
NEW WEBSITE
Rheinschild & Associates is a boutique, full-service estate management company for some of the most impressive homes in Santa Barbara. Their website needed to be clean, confident, simple and private. See the LIVE version here
Moving into 2020, we already have some fantastic projects in the hopper including a branding project, 2 new websites, and 2 new videos slated for Spring. As Clever Punch grows it’s becoming obvious that there is a space for us! Small businesses are seeing the value in having a professional presence and standing above the rest. We’re able to fit our pricing under what a standard agency and even below the cost of a full-time in house marketing person. We couldn’t be more excited for this year, the best is yet to come!
